This project brings together East Coast influences with local charm. The clients, drawn to saltbox colonials and simple façades, worked closely with the design team to create a home that adhered to city and HOA guidelines while realizing their vision.
The client’s extensive art collection played a key role in the design. Spaces were carefully arranged to highlight the pieces, integrating art throughout the home.
One notable challenge was designing traditional Georgian interior shutters that could fold back easily to the wall—accomplished with the expertise of a skilled cabinet maker. Additionally, the basement bunk room maximized space for guests with thoughtful details, including electrical outlets and a custom runner on the stairs. The end result is a home where both function and style come together beautifully.
