Outdoor Space & Landscape
For a family that thrives in the outdoors, an ordinary backyard simply wouldn’t do. The project team took on the challenge of transforming this expansive, sloped space into a seamless extension of the home—an elegant yet functional retreat that embodies classic Southern charm.
Reorienting a dominant staircase unlocked the full potential of the yard, while an additional garage provided essential storage. Thoughtful tiering and natural stone retaining walls created a grand entrance, leading to a luxurious outdoor oasis. A deep-hued pool blends effortlessly into the wooded surroundings, while the hidden hot tub and fire-lit lounge area enhance the intimate ambiance.
Muted creams, soft browns and grays unify the space, accented by wrought iron, teak and wicker furnishings. Fire bowls cast a warm glow, ensuring this outdoor haven is as enchanting by night as it is by day. With a retreat like this, the homeowners may never go back inside.
