This Warrensburg home is an architectural response to the desire for both seclusion and social spaces. The home’s design skillfully integrates with the natural landscape, offering a peaceful sanctuary while allowing for expansive gatherings.
One of the primary challenges was incorporating a nine-car garage of considerable size without overwhelming the home’s aesthetic. The solution was to carve into the hillside, tucking the garage behind the structure and leaving only the entry visible. This approach preserves the home’s balance with its surroundings.
The design features long linear massings, solid along the length with transparent ends that frame stunning views. Inside, spatial variation is achieved through multiple ceiling heights and a seamless flow from the main living areas to the outdoor pool and entertainment spaces, creating an expansive connection between interior and exterior.
