Interior Project | Single Space
In a home filled with light, one space stands apart—a dramatic turret library, rich in history and charm. This European castle-inspired alcove embodies the homeowners’ deep connection to heritage and literature.
Encircling the two-story room, wraparound bookshelves and a custom metal catwalk etched with medieval “C”s pay tribute to the family name. Dark-stained wood and sentimental heirlooms add warmth, while antique school maps, salvaged church bricks and a keystone from the original homestead weave local history into the design. A hidden desk and pull-down projector seamlessly merge tradition with modern living, offering both a place of study and shared moments.
More than a library, this architectural marvel is a living archive—a place where stories, both written and lived, continue to unfold, creating an enduring centerpiece within the home.
