One of the main challenges with designing a home office by the front door is achieving the right balance between openness and privacy. This office features a full glass wall overlooking the foyer, allowing natural light to flood the space and visually connect it to the rest of the home. To add in optional privacy, the project team integrated Clic Glass technology, which allows the glass to switch instantly from clear to frosted at the touch of a button.

Integrating this unique system required careful coordination between the design, electrical, and glazing teams to ensure seamless installation and clean detailing without visible wiring or hardware. Maintaining both aesthetics and functionality was key to making this feature successful.

This smart feature provides flexibility—offering a sense of openness during the day while maintaining privacy for meetings or focused work. The result is a modern, dynamic workspace that feels connected yet secluded, embodying the perfect harmony of design innovation and everyday functionality.
