Bringing in the Spanish Light
This kitchen renovation centered around the essence of the Spanish-style home being preserved while bringing in light, space and modernity. The challenge was to open up the space without losing the home’s historical charm. By consolidating pantries and bathrooms, the kitchen now flows into the living area, offering views and abundant natural light. The project team added expansive windows, lighter beams and a large island for gatherings, while keeping the original style intact. The blend of oak, blue cabinetry and gold accents embodies both the home’s heritage and the owners’ evolving needs.
