The Well-Traveled Home
This home reflects the unique lifestyle of a globetrotting client. With pieces sourced from around the world—Spanish wall panels, Italian furniture and a German entertainment wall—the design integrates minimalist modern aesthetics with transitional elements. Large windows and high ceilings maximize the views and natural light, while expansive terraces create a seamless indoor-outdoor flow.
A key challenge was balancing the home’s global design influences while maintaining visual interest through textures, lighting and variations in materials. The solution was found in a meticulous combination of luxury and minimalism. For example, the primary suite’s neutral palette is elevated with textured marble, geometric wallpaper and custom furniture. The living room’s “James Bond Wall” combines eucalyptus wood, leather and stone, while the floating staircase and textured Spanish wall add architectural refinement. Through thoughtful design, the home encapsulates both opulence and functionality in every room.
