Trove Homes helped reimagine a challenging layout into this striking residence tailored for both daily life and grand entertaining. The homeowner, an industry expert in remodeling and new builds, sought to create a space where form and function coalesce with artistic precision.
A centrally placed staircase once disrupted the home’s flow, making spaces feel disconnected. By relocating it to the back, the design team introduced openness, allowing light to flood in from expansive windows overlooking the pool, pond and golf course. The former staircase space was transformed into a dramatic plaster fireplace, hand-sculpted by a Kansas City artisan—an exquisite first for the region.
A refined yet bold kitchen now serves as the heart of the home, featuring a massive island, leathered Taj Mahal quartzite and custom bronze mirrored cabinetry. The dining room, framed by sweeping corbels and a hand-painted mural, enhances the home’s artistic narrative. Avenue Renaissance is a masterful fusion of craftsmanship and modern luxury.
