Outdoor Space & Landscape

English Garden

The design team embraced tradition and craftsmanship to reimagine this formerly overgrown backyard into a structured yet inviting English garden. The vision: a balanced, purposeful space where ornamental beauty and functional gardening would coexist seamlessly.

The transformation required precision. The existing asymmetrical layout was reshaped into a classic, harmonious design, moving vegetable plots away from the creek to deter wildlife. A thoughtfully placed fire pit and outdoor dining area ensure the space is enjoyed, not just maintained.

Unexpected elevation changes became an asset, introducing elegant stone steps softened by lush plantings. The greenhouse, now on level ground with the garden beds, features a vintage concrete sink—its discovery and restoration a labor of love. With its refined structure, carefully curated plantings and timeless materials, this garden is more than a place to grow—it’s a retreat, a gathering space and a testament to enduring design.
