Perched on a dramatic landscape, this contemporary retreat balances bold architectural elements with organic textures, transforming a rugged site into a multi-tiered sanctuary.

Originally envisioned as a landscape enhancement, the project evolved into a full-fledged outdoor resort, complete with a sleek boomerang-shaped pool and a discreetly integrated tennis court. The rocky terrain and steep drop-off posed challenges, but instead of fighting the site’s natural contours, the design embraced them. Staggered terraces carve out distinct spaces, maximizing functionality while preserving mature trees and showcasing sweeping city views.

The pool area harmonizes raw sandstone with luminous glass tile, while architectural metal screens provide a polished contrast. Perimeter fire torchieres add a dramatic glow, defining the outdoor space after sunset. The result is a sculptural, dynamic landscape that seamlessly blends relaxation, recreation and refined aesthetics.
