Lumberman’s Row

Lumberman’s Row brings the elegance of late 19th-century East Coast shingle-style homes to a Kansas City lakefront. Situated in the New Longview community, this home blends historical craftsmanship with modern livability. The exterior features Hardie shingle siding, intricate trim details, red brick and a gracefully arched entry leading to a porte-cochere, creating a striking first impression.

Inside, Scandinavian influences shape the design. Repeated arches, natural stone, custom metal railings and warm white oak finishes establish a sense of balance and warmth. Every detail contributes to an atmosphere that is both grand and inviting.

One of the team’s greatest challenges was sourcing historically accurate trim details to maintain the integrity of the architectural style. Through close collaboration with expert craftsmen, each element was carefully executed, ensuring the home remains faithful to its inspiration while offering a fresh perspective on classic design.
