The project team transformed this formerly sprawling, outdated bathroom into a modern yet traditional retreat, balancing the distinct needs of both spouses while respecting the home’s architectural integrity. They successfully created separate yet cohesive spaces—one light and serene, the other warm and cozy—without sacrificing storage or style.
A key design change included reorganizing the closets. By swapping the “his” and “hers” sides, the larger end became a peaceful retreat with a freestanding tub, framed by a deep niche for a practical yet elegant touch. The existing window placement was maintained to preserve the home’s facade, while custom vanities—one antique and the other walnut-wrapped—define the separate spaces.
Smart storage solutions, including expanded closets and integrated lighting, elevate the layout, offering both luxury and comfort. The outcome? A harmonious, inviting bathroom that fosters marital bliss.
