Luxury camping in the Ozark Highlands

Do you feel the effects of post-pandemic scheduling whiplash? After The Great Pause, we returned to our busy lives with a vengeance. Health and wellness hospitality company Getaway is here to help you return to that slower pace, if only for a night or weekend. The company, which operates tiny cabins on 19 outposts across the country, disconnects guests from technology and reconnects them with nature. Drive 2.5 hours to their new Ozark Highlands outpost, lock up your phone and enjoy simply being.

Surrounded by forest and hilltop views, each cabin ranges from 140 to 200 square feet and comes with everything you need: a comfy queen bed or queen bunks, linens, a two-burner stove, a mini-fridge, a sink, a toilet, a hot shower, heat and AC, an outdoor fire pit with grilling grate, cookware, silverware, dishware and a mini-library.

A large picture window keeps visitors connected even while inside. White pine interiors and crisp white linens elevate the experience from that of glamping. As the company says, “Our design focuses on creating a place that enables our guests to escape to nature as effortlessly as possible, and unlock a deep and memorable experience within”
