Bring your kitchen, bath and closet design projects to life at The Designery Overland Park

The Designery Overland Park offers aesthetically pleasing and affordable solutions for kitchens, baths, and closets. Celebrating the grand opening of their Overland Park showroom, Shanthy Vinjimoor, owner, envisions The Designery as a one-stop shop for the growing Kansas City community, with quality cabinets, closets, flooring, tiles and countertops. Their services include kitchen, bath, and closet modeling, along with partnering clients to local builders on new construction projects. Alternatively, the team is also open to partnering with your contractor to design beautiful home solutions and products that are built to last.

Their new showroom features three kitchen vignettes, master vanity, mudroom, outdoor kitchen, and a custom closet. With a variety of cabinet, hardware, tile, backsplash, and flooring samples, the team is able to create a mood board in their design center to visualize the look and feel of the kitchen or bath. The team can also draw out a three-dimensional rendering on the computer to help clients visualize the finished product using a VR headset. They welcome walk-ins to their showroom located at 6337 W. 119th Street in Overland Park, open Monday through Friday 9am to 5pm. “The cabinet line is extensive,” Shanthy says. “We work within all different budgets and needs, offering custom options designed for the space.”

Whether you are turning your garage into a beautiful lounge spot, updating the shower tiles, renovating your kitchen or turning carpet to hardwood, The Designery carries different styles of solid and engineered wood flooring, luxury vinyl flooring, and floor tiles, offering clients the most optimal solution for home renovation all in one place.

Beginning and ending each day in an organized custom closet space can change your entire day, whether that’s in a master bedroom or a kitchen pantry. Choose from over 15 different colors to suit your home’s style. Explore their catalogue of closet organization tools like jewelry organizers, belt and tie racks, shoe racks, hampers, drawers, mirrors, and glass doors.

After a successful career as an IT software engineer, Shanthy was looking for a business opportunity that spoke to her heart. She found it while building her own custom home and discovering her love of design, building inspiration after years of watching HGTV at home. “While looking at model homes and showrooms, I found myself asking, would I have done it this way? Maybe there is a more efficient way – that’s how my mind works, and exactly how I want to serve my clients,” she says.
